Forebearers of Ancient Ways

Those who Formed our Grand Design
Fantasy equal: Kronos

In Ancient Greek Mythology, the Titans ruled the world when the earth was still young and the gods graced us with their physical presence. Titans were the pioneers of many things and events. They destroyed just as often and easily as they created. The world was their playground, the gods were their pawns and humans and animals were their toys.

The gods, who have grown fond of humankind, gathered their forces and opposed the rule of the titans. A great war ensued on the earth and Mount Olympus as a result of their conflicts. Finally the gods overthrew the powerful titans and banished them to Tartarus, where they rot and wait for the day of their release to source chaos on the world once more.

Little remains of the Age of the Titans. Here and there are remnants that remind us of them. The same goes for the pioneers of male erotica. They too caused havoc on the world and many opposed the wonderful message they shared. Unlike the Titans, however, they have endured. The remnants of their initial success are scarce none the less. This collection celebrates their victory and the glorious industry their initial work now is today.

“Cronus or Kronos, (Ancient Greek Κρόνος, Krónos), was the leader and the youngest of the first generation of Titans, divine descendants of Gaia, the earth, and Ouranos, the sky. He overthrew his father and ruled during the mythological Golden Age, until he was overthrown by his own sons, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon, and imprisoned in Tartarus or sent to rule the paradise of the Elysian Fields.”
